It’s true the enemy, the devil will try to steal your healing if he can.In  John 10:10a, Jesus has this to say this about him, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” Sometimes when people seem to lose their healings, it is not necessarily because of sin issues in their lives, but because satan is trying to steal their healing. He is trying to discredit their testimony. And he can if you let him.

He will go wholeheartedly after those who have been healed. Why? Because he fears the power of their living testimony. He knows that a shared healing testimony is a supernatural weapon against him and his darkness. He is fully aware of the lost souls at stake. He doesn’t want to lose those lost souls to Jesus. So, he tries to silence those who obtain their healing with weapons of taunting fear and doubt. He even puts physical symptoms back on those who were healed to see if they will bow to him and accept the sickness or disease back into their body. We must not allow him to do this to us.

In John 12:10-11, we read how after Lazarus was miraculously raised from the dead, satan moved through the chief priests to try and have him put to death because he feared his living testimony. The news of Lazarus being raised from the dead was spreading like wildfire, and many people were turning to Jesus because of it. The devil wanted to snuff out the flames.

And he is no different today, then he was back then. He is afraid of the impact that your living testimony will have on his kingdom of darkness. But we do not need to fear his attacks. According to 1 John 4:4 we have the Greater One living within us. And after we have received our healings we do not need to receive his lying symptoms back into our body.

How do you keep your healing?

  1. According to Revelation 12:11, we overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of our testimony. To keep our healing we need to testify of it, tell people about how the Lord healed us. This gives strength to the healing, and weakens the power of the enemy over us.
  2. We also need to live like we are healed. James 2:14-26 teaches us that faith without works is dead. And in the case of healing, we need to live like we are healed.
  3. The last, but not least point that I want to share in regards to keeping your healing, we need to overcome fear. The Bible is clear the thing we fear the most will come upon us, see Job 3:25. In my experience in the healing ministry, I have seen over and over again, that a spirit of fear precedes the spirit of death. Subdue fear, cast it far from you and live.
