Not to give up is a decision that we all have to make from time to time. And it can be one of the hardest decisions we will ever have to make. Continuing to fight the enemy is real tough, and it takes every ounce of faith within you to do so. Especially when we are dealing with life and death situations. For Christians we know if we die we pass into eternity with Christ, and that is a wonderful occasion. But we need to ask ourselves have we fulfilled God’s destiny for us on this earth. And does the situation line itself up with the Word of God.

Does God take people from this earth with sickness and disease? According to the Scriptures Jesus was whipped to heal us from all sickness and disease.

But [in fact] He has borne our griefs, and He has carried our sorrows and pains; yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken, struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing];
The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, and by His stripes (wounds) we are healed, Isaiah 53:4-5, AMP.

Does our Lord remove people from this earth through tragedy? The following verse from John 10:10 tells us that Jesus comes to give us life and life in abundance. Tragedy is not life or life in abundance. But this verse does tell us who is responsible for such grief, “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].

Is it the Father’s plan that people die while young, or prematurely? What does His Word tell us? “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future,” Jeremiah 29:11. Premature death robs people from their future, so it does not come from God.

So when the enemy tempts you to give up the good fight of faith, don’t listen to him. Instead call upon the strength of the Lord when you feel weak and allow His strength to take over for you. Remember, not to give up is a decision.

    1. Dear Pastor Hazel,
      In the name of Jesus’ I renounce the spirit of death, and breast cancer attacking your physical body. I release the Spirit of Life, the power of the Holy Spirit to flow in and throughout the marrow of your bones, into your every cell, tissue and organ. Any and all cancer in this body die off, be supernaturally eliminated from this body and never return again. I pray for creative miracles and the breast is recreated for the glory of the Lord. I speak life over Hazel and declare no weapon formed against her shall prosper, no evil will come near her dwelling and every lying symptom come off of her now in Jesus’ name, amen. You will live you will not die and declare the glory of the Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.

  3. Your timing is impeccable. My marriage of 44 years is nearly over. My husband has cheated throughout the years and his current girlfriend he has had for over a year. I was reading about faithfulness and abuse of that. I’ve listened to God, as He led me to this emotional time. Not for my will, but His. Prayers needed please.

    1. Dear Theresa,
      In Jesus’ name I release the healing balm of Gilead into your soul (mind and emotions) and that all these years of betrayal and the toll it has taken out on you be healed in the mighty name of Jesus. Holy Spirit, hover over Theresa, may she experience your unconditional and deep love you have for her. Holy Spirit, continue to carry her through this most painful time in her life. Show her the way, what You would have her do. Surround her with people that love and understand and know how best to help her through. I bind the lies of the enemy from having negative effects over Theresa. That she walks in a peace that is not of this world, but of You. I bind the strongman of betrayal that has risen it’s ugly head of betray against her. I declare that she is more than a conqueror in every way. I declare that she is healed in spirit, soul and in physical body. In Jesus’ name, amen.

      Hugs,
